Raffaella Pelliccia
Visual artist and tattoo artist
Raffaella Pelliccia (Naples, 1994) is a visual artist and tattoo artist based in Naples. In 2018, she graduated with a degree in Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury (UK), where she developed a research practice focused on line, materiality, and the relationship between the body and space.
Upon returning to Naples, she began a professional career in the museum and cultural sector, working at the intersection of artistic practice and educational mediation. She currently collaborates with Le Nuvole and contributes to projects at the Pompeii Children’s Museum, helping develop workshops and creative pathways that foster a dialogue between visual arts and participatory practices.
Parallel to this, she develops her artistic practice in tattooing, focusing on botanical and ornamental motifs. Plant interweavings and decorative markings become tools to explore the gesture as an identity trace and the body as a narrative surface and site of shared memory.
