Carlo Tamanini
Head of the Education and Mediation Area at Mart (Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto).
Carlo Tamanini is an art historian and the Head of the Education and Mediation Area at Mart (Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto). For many years, his research has focused on the relationship between art and meditation, as well as the aesthetic education practices developed by artists and designers. He has curated in-depth studies on the aesthetic thought of figures such as Joséphin Péladan, Gustav Gräser, Hundertwasser, and Geoff McFetridge, among others. He is the author of Esercizi d’arte (Rizzoli Education-Erickson) and Piccolo Museo: L’ABC del Mart in 100 opere (All’insegna del Giglio). He also co-authored Io + museo: Incontri, arte, persone (Mart) with Thea Unteregger, and the Kit della Comunità educante (Impresa Sociale Con i Bambini).
