Strategic Direction and Team
To support the growth of the programme and coordinate the initiatives of EDI Global Forum 2025, Fondazione Morra Greco has appointed Sylvain Bellenger as General Director and Christian Larsen as Executive Director. Their collaboration brings together two complementary perspectives: museum management and a curatorial research practice rooted in contemporary cultural transformations, strengthening EDI’s international impact.
Sylvain Bellenger is a leading figure in museum administration and education. His directorship of the Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte established a European model of institutional innovation. His career as a curator in France and the United States—including roles at the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Art Institute of Chicago—demonstrates deep expertise in the dialogue between collections, audiences, and territories.
Christian Larsen, cultural historian and curator, brings to EDI experience gained at institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA, Fondazione Cini / Le Stanze del Vetro, and the Wolfsonian-FIU. Having earned his graduate degrees at the Bard Graduate Center in New York, where he also taught, he has curated exhibitions and publications ranging from Ettore Sottsass to Herzog & de Meuron, from Jean Prouvé to the avant-gardes of digital and robotic design, and the history of plant migration.
