Anna Maria Marras is President of AVICOM (ICOM International Committee for Audiovisual, New Technologies and Social Media), a researcher in Library and Archival Science at the University of Turin, and a member of the Executive Board of the European Association for Digital Humanities (EADH).

Her research focuses on the digital transformation of cultural heritage, with particular attention to accessibility, participation, and open access. She also studies the impact of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, in museums, archives, and libraries.
