Laura Lieto
Deputy Mayor, Councillor for Urban Planning, City of Naples
Laura Lieto is a full professor of Urban Planning at the Department of Architecture of the University of Naples “Federico II.” She currently holds the position of Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Urban Planning of the Municipality of Naples, dealing with various areas, from social housing to urban regeneration and territorial planning.
She has been a visiting professor at Columbia University and the University of Copenhagen. She is also Editor-in-Chief of the class A journal CRIOS (Critique of Spatial Orders). She was a consultant for the planning of the new Jubail City Plan in Saudi Arabia and collaborated with New York University Abu Dhabi on an international project for cities in the Persian Gulf.
