Martino Margheri

Professor at IED Florence

Martino Margheri (1982) is a museum educator and lecturer. He trained in Art History at the University of Florence.

From 2007 to 2014, he worked for the Strozzina Centre for Contemporary Culture at Palazzo Strozzi, Florence. Since 2014, he has been the Head of Educational Activities (for universities and academies), Special Projects, and Public Programming at Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi.

He is a Professor at IED Florence, teaching within the Master’s programs in Curatorial Practice and Museum Education. His interests include publishing as an exhibition platform, formal and informal education, and the hybridization of the arts. He is a devotee of photography, "cinema on the radio," and the dimension of listening. In his professional practice, he regularly collaborates with schools, universities, art academies, and cultural institutions.
