Francesca Blandino

Francesca Blandino

Head of Education, Fondazione Morra Greco

Francesca Blandino is an art historian, educator, and independent curator whose practice operates at the intersection of radical pedagogy, curatorial studies, and performance. She investigates art as a critical framework for fostering complex thinking and co-creating new collective imaginaries. Specializing in participatory practices, she redefines mediation as a relational platform that bridges contemporary artistic languages with the needs and aspirations of the public. Her work explores the concept of the "museum beyond itself", advocating for porous cultural institutions that activate reflections on collective values through experiential learning. With a professional background spanning foundations, galleries, and third-sector organizations, she has led the Educational Department and Archive at Fondazione Morra Greco (Naples) since 2020, developing research on the nexus between art, pedagogy, and active citizenship.
