webm“Stepping into a work of art. Mart at home” is a distance learning project designed for teachers and school students to discover some of the major masterpieces of the Museum’s Collections. Eight videos accompanied by soundtracks allow you to dive into the works of Campigli, Depero, Gupta, Melotti, Merz, Russolo, Severini and Vedova. Each experience is complemented by study material and its reworked version in the form of downloadable cards, designed for primary and secondary school but available to everyone. The teacher chooses the artwork to be investigated and then, through the video, the students can explore the masterpiece by observing it calmly and immersing in its shapes and colors. The encouragement is to slow down and let oneself be carried away, experiencing a minute of ‘aesthetic meditation’.
Students and teachers are invited to send materials, ideas, and feedback on the activities to the Mart. This helps to keep alive the welcoming relationship and mutual exchange that is at the heart of the Education Area’s mission.
