Created in collaboration with Carmine Cervone and his Smallest Museum in the World of Typography, In Opera. Tra tinte piatte e affreschi offers an artistic itinerary that, starting from the discovery of the museum and its printing machines, reaches the frescoed rooms of Palazzo Caracciolo di Avellino. Here a workshop has followed, and it has been possible to reproduce some decorative details of the frescoes with the spot color technique. After the guided tour of the Foundation, the final workshop was carried out in a well-equipped environment where a workstation was set up for the printer Carmine Cervone. The activity involved the use of a historical printing machine and inks for printing spot colours in black and white of decorative details of the frescoes preserved in the Palazzo Caracciolo di Avellino.
The workshop was designed as part of the projects aimed at introducing the Fondazione Morra Greco to the inhabitants of the neighbourhood and of the historic centre of Naples. The project aims to open up the museum to the local area, to make them familiar places where people can spend their time creatively and actively. The museum thus aims to become a place of conscious participation and inclusion.
