A L F A B E T O. 0 is a collective journey through multiple sounds, colours and suggestions that, through cultural and artistic contamination, aims to create a new kinetic alphabet that is not closed, but in continuous evolution. The performed space thus becomes a place where the participants can relate, confront and understand each other through artistic narration. COOPERATIVAdanza proposes an idea of social dance, an artistic practice that creatively rethinks the processes of sharing and the concepts of collectivity, for a more open and inclusive world. It is a bodily itinerary that explores the artistic languages of the cultures involved and hybridised in the Sonance Saturated Stone temporary exhibition (16.09.2021 // 07.11.2021) project by Maria Thereza Alves, which has been reinterpreted by the young dancers in the museum spaces of Palazzo Caracciolo di Avellino.
The event was attended by families and local visitors, and gave them the opportunity to explore the foundation’s spaces and approach contemporary art in a new way. In particular, after following the traveling performance of the dancers, the visitors became protagonists of the performance themselves in the final phase of the workshop. Here, the movements conceived and performed by the young dancers led the participants to rediscover their own bodies in a continuous dialogue with the spaces and with the other visitors.
