Connecting Across Generations And Cultures Through Art And Education
November 23, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
This Agora Session will explore how art institutions connect across cultural and generational backgrounds by developing innovative programming enabling children and their families to engage with difference through art. In this case study, the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane’s public engagement strategies and their children’s art centre have engaged artists from across the world to open up the minds of children not only in Australia, but in other global contexts as well, such as rural Bangladesh.
