Sandro Debono is a museum thinker and change-maker based in Malta. With a background in art history and visual studies, he has spent nearly 25 years leading museum projects, curating international exhibitions, and developing participatory initiatives tailored to diverse audiences.

Sandro is an executive board member of NEMO (Network of European Museums Organisations) and serves on several international advisory and editorial boards, including the Anchorage Museum (Alaska) and the journal “Capitale Culturale”. He is also a Scientific Committee Member of the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities. In academia, he is a Visiting Senior Lecturer at the University of Malta and coordinates the Malta strand of the EDUMaH Master’s in Museum and Heritage Education.
