Christian Larsen is a cultural historian and curator currently serving as Executive Director of EDI. He has held senior positions at several renowned institutions, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA, Fondazione Cini/Le Stanze del Vetro, and Wolfsonian-Florida International University. He earned his graduate degrees at the Bard Graduate Center in New York where he has also taught. His exhibitions and publications address topics as diverse as Ettore Sottsass, Herzog & DeMeuron, Jean Prouvé, the avant-garde of digital design and robotic manufacturing, Afro-Brazilian amulets and jewelry, and the history of plant migration.
