Alexis Salas
Endowed Assistant Professor, Arts of the Americas, University of Arkansas
Dr. Salas specializes in Latin American and Latino/a/e/x art and visual culture. Salas holds the position of Endowed Assistant Professor of Arts in the Americas in art history at the University of Arkansas.
During the 2026-27 academic year Salas will be the Faculty Fellow at the Centre of Latin American Studies and Lucy Cavendish College at Cambridge University. She is currently at work on a book-length project on Queer Latinx Art and Activism.
