Irene Innocente
Coordinator of Educational Activities and Accessibility at the Luigi Pecci Centre for Contemporary Art (Prato)
Irene Innocente is the Coordinator of Educational Activities and Accessibility at the Luigi Pecci Centre for Contemporary Art (Prato), where she has designed and coordinated programs for all audiences since 2016. Since 2007, she has collaborated with various cultural institutions in Italy and abroad as a museum educator and organizational secretary. As a historian of contemporary art, her research focuses on the 1960s, with a specialization in Public Art from the Postgraduate School of Bologna (Scuola di Specializzazione). She has served as a lecturer for the MIUR (Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research) and currently teaches at IED Florence. Since 2023, she has been the Italian representative for the EMA (European Museum Academy) and is a member of the Accessibility Working Group of ICOM Italy.
