In-Frangere. Dwelling in Fragilities

Fragility is not a definitive break, but a space to be inhabited. The workshop invites participants to explore this intermediate dimension through an original dialogue between the educational departments of Pio Monte della Misericordia and MAMbo. Focusing on the collections of Pio Monte, the journey begins with an introspective reflection before Caravaggio’s masterpiece. From there, participants will be guided through a visual exploration, tracing fragility within the signs, textures, and colors of the Picture Gallery to create an ideal bridge between past and present. The experience will end in a collective act of recomposition: “donated” fragments and words will intertwine to give shape to a new choral narrative, transforming the museum into a space for well-being, reflection, and shared experience.
