Origins and Vision EDI GLOBAL FORUM

In response to profound changes in educational needs, Fondazione Morra Greco launched EDI (Education Integration) in 2022, creating what has become a year-long program of Agora Talks and an annual global convening, the EDI Global Forum.

The Forum is more than a symposium, but a permanent transnational platform dedicated to research and experimentation in the most advanced educational innovations. The EDI network does not merely observe or discuss educational and engagement practices developed by museums and cultural institutions, but analyses and tests their concrete impact on social realities, territories, and communities. It fosters the exchange of skills, methodologies, and shared visions that continue to evolve beyond the event itself.

The project’s scientific strength is evidenced by its Table of Ideas, a steering committee that continues to evolve its membership, including leading figures from some of the world’s most prestigious institutions such as MoMA, Louvre, Museu de Arte do Rio, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Stedelijk Museum, and the Raw Material Company in Dakar. This network of excellence ensures ongoing dialogue between diverse geographical and cultural perspectives, giving the Forum a truly global scope.

The educational vision of EDI Global Forum is aligned with the mission of Fondazione Morra Greco. The Foundation’s Education Department was established with the first edition of EDI and has developed alongside the Forum as a space for research, experimentation, and shared project development. Since then, the trajectories of EDI and the Foundation have evolved jointly, reinforcing one another and strengthening education as a strategic axis of the institution.
